The present study aimed at assessing the intrinsic quality of the teachers and students of undergraduate courses in public universities was conducted in Tehran. In this regard, the curriculum consists of four basic elements (objectives, content, teaching methods, evaluation) were evaluated. The method used in this research combines methods (quantitative - qualitative). The statistical population included all of Tehran University students and faculty at these universities are public. The sample consisted of 20 professors and 384 students were selected based on Morgan, In analyzing the data, the analysis of qualitative (descriptive analysis), using descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, frequency and distribution), inferential of (t test for independent samples) to compare students and teachers used is located. The findings represent the consensus of the majority of students, curriculum elements lessons to the public, Expressed in a questionnaire responses made, indicates that the status quo in terms of public education elements such as goals, content, teaching methods and evaluation of the curriculum is not desirable, The objective element of general education courses at the intermediate level students and teachers' point of view implies an optimum level.

Current world more than ever is needed to graduates with knowledge and general Skills, capable in access to information, communicate effectively, analyze problems and offer solutions, creative thinking and identify national and international environment. In addition to the professional curriculum, undergraduate students are required to attend a certain number of courses with several issues that would normally be spent during the first and second year university. This course is referred as a general education curriculum that is part of the common curriculum for all students. The present study was investigated general education programs. Research method is a comparative study that the Universities of Missouri, U C Davis, Beirut and Tehran were selected as a sample. The main focus of this study is investigated how these programs assess and changes, educational requirements, topics, courses and general education credits. The study was considered the positive points of these sample universities that can be used to improve general education programs at universities in Iran.

This study was conducted with a qualitative approach and phenomenological method. The population of this study consist of graduate students of curriculum developmentthat familiar with this field. Participants were selected using purposive sampling from the Faculties of Education. For this purpose, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 18 of Participants. To ensure the reliability and accuracy of dataMeanwhile review and approval of interview questions by experts,usedFrequent comparison dataandEquivalent to data saturationmethods.Data analyzed by Smith (1995) method andResults shows that 4 main themesidentifiedsuch as (1) the individualrole (2)the social acceptance(3) discipline structureand(4)identifying the field.Each of thisthemes has several sub-themes. Redefining in the role of curriculum developer, the boundaries of disciplines, the role of teacher and decentralization in the curriculum developmentare some of the resulting factors that emphasized bygraduate students of curriculum developmentin professional identity.

Considering the development of virtual teaching in the higher education system and the clarity of the importance of quality virtual teaching in virtual courses, the purpose of this research was to plan a quality virtual teaching model in the higher education system of Iran. To plan the model, use was made of the descriptive analytic research method. The study domain was print and electronic references concerned with virtual teaching and its components. To validate the model, the descriptive method was used. The population included experts, professors, and authorities in virtual teaching; the research sample was selected using the criterion based sampling method, based on criteria like having papers, books, translations, or teaching in virtual courses, and these 30 individuals examined the validity of the suggested model. In the area of planning the quality virtual teaching model, conectivism theory were bases in the model Based on the bases mentioned, the features of the components of the quality teaching model in the higher education system were presented, and eventually, the validity of the above model was examined and confirmed by experts and authorities. By design pattern, teaching-learning or teaching activity implementation in three stages of design, implementation and evaluation were performed. the three stages are not separated and interact. the features of the teaching-learning process related to the template element was determined.

The aim of this study was to develop criteria and indicators for curriculum quality assessment of Iran’s high schools. In this regard, the most important and fundamental criteria and indicators of curriculum assessment were collected and then the data was investigated by accreditation experts. The aim of this study is applicable and data collection method is descriptive due to the study nature. The study statistical community included 300 line and staff experts of Kohkiluye & Boyer Ahmad’s education office and quality assessment specialists of universities. Researcher made questionnaire used as research tool. Descriptive methods and single sample t test was used to data analysis.The findings show that all of criteria and indicators were assessed in high desirable level, and by t test calculation about every criteria and indicators with specified degree of freedom (sig=0.000) value is less than the allowed error (0.05), they are important and acceptable criteria and indicators.

As regards national identity and searching identity are every society’s basic and necessary issues, and textbooks are transfigurations of the nations’ cultural, educational, religious, political and social policies, the present research aimed at comparative studying the textbook of Social Studies of the 7th grade of junior secondary school and the textbooks of Social Education (history, geography and social education) of grade 1 of the former educational guidance school courses by means of national identity. The population of the study was the textbook of Social Studies of the 7th grade of junior secondary school printed in 1393 and the textbooks of Social education of grade 1 of the former educational guidance school courses including history, geography and social education, printed in 1390. Considering the subject and purpose of the study, all the courses of the textbooks were studied and analyzed. In the realm of descriptive research, the researcher has utilized descriptive statistics and chi square of inferential statistics. The findings show that there are the most frequency in the “social”, “geographical” and “historical” dimensions of the written content and the “cultural” dimension of pictorial content and the least frequency in the “religious” dimension in the textbook of Social Studies of the 7th grade of junior secondary school. In the written content of the textbooks of social education and history, the historical, political and cultural dimensions, and in the pictorial content the “cultural” dimension have been considered at most, and the “religious” dimension has been considered the least.
